Even in this day of nutritionally-depleted food, grown in a toxic environment, by chemical-happy agribusiness, vibrant health is attainable. People accomplish this every day and you can have it too, if you just take the time to learn how to get it.
Very few people have loads of free time to spend exercising, buying and preparing special foods, and doing complicated treatments, so you need to be smart about how you approach lifestyle changes so that they become habits.
Anyone can make small changes in the direction of greater health. If there was a way to feel better and decrease your medical expenses, wouldn't you want to know about it? It's simpler than you may think.
The most important investment you can make is in yourself. Are you worth it? With all the people who depend on you, will you do it for them, if not for your own health and happiness?
You have a choice. What you have been doing isn't working for you. You can limp through life, tired and in pain, popping pills to keep going, or you can start feeling better, while on the road to feeling great! Successful people put the odds in their favor by doing things that others have used successfully.
In 1928, Napoleon Hill wrote a two volume book called “The Law of Success in 16 Lessons”. In 1937, this was edited down to a much smaller book called, “Think and Grow Rich”. The lessons, of the 16 common characteristics of successful people, also applies to success in achieving vibrant health. Let's talk about just 4 of them today.
1. A Burning Desire
No one can want it for you. It is this strong desire that will get you over any rough spots on the road to vibrant health. Knowing that you will succeed fans the flames of your burning desire.
2. Specialized Knowledge
Most people don't have the time, money or desire to spend 8-12 years pursuing a medical degree that falls short of giving us all the information we need to regain our health. Conventional medicine has its place and is valuable in managing trauma and medical emergencies. But there is so much alternative information, where do you start? How do you know what works for you?
3. You must be Decisive.
Everyone has an opinion and some are worth paying for. Many aren't. So stand up for what you decide is the right approach for you, after getting the information you need. You know yourself and the way your body responds better than anyone else. It's your life!
Although the path to vibrant health is simple, it's not always easy. You may occasionally find land mines in the road. The way you keep them from exploding is to not step on them! That is what the right health coach can do for you; help keep you on the path and stepping around the land mines. Of course, you need a guide who knows the road. Over time you will develop more self discipline than you thought possible and will benefit in all areas of your life for having done it.
